Sash's dress and pinafore

Here's my sister Sasha's dress that I promised I'd post...

Good job on the dress! I also enjoy sewing, especially clothing. Do you use patterns? Or are you one of those amazing people who can look at something and then make it? :)

It's kinda funny that you asked that by commenting on this particular dress,
this is my least patterned dress, I took the pattern from a library costume book, so I had to draft it (I would NOT suggest trying to do that unless you have taken classes on that subject, I have not). But usually I start with a pattern and go on from there, I add my own "special" touches :-)
