Sorry it took me SO long to post!
I haven't had much to post except my Easter dress, but I couldn't get anyone to take a picture for the short time I was wearing it. But next time I put it on I'll have SOMEONE take a picture.
But now to the point of this post, this is something I wrote yesterday,
Yes, I'm a Home-schooler, can you relate?
NOTE: This does NOT apply to all Home-schoolers
If people ask me who/what my favorite star is, I'm tempted to say Betelgeuse (pronounced beetle juice), and if they ask who that is I'd say, "It's only 1,000x bigger than our sun!!!"
My family and I randomly burst into song
I learned how to PROPERLY hold a pencil when I was 6
My favorite movies are old ones or musicals
My sister and I often quote lines off of old movies
I know that our hair and nails are made of the same substance
When I grow up I want to be a member of the NRA
If you ask a public-schooler what they like to do, most will say, (usually very dully) "Play video games." But don't ask me, it might take me an hour to explain my interests
While most teens could tell you what's new with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, I could tell you what's new in politics and all about the swine flu
While most teens haven't even changed a diaper, I probably know more about babies than our pregnant neighbor
While others shop at Nordstrom's, I think any shirt over $5 is expensive
While others fall asleep in a warm bath, I wait in line for a cold shower
While other teens may shy away from a conversation with an adult, I can look an adult in the eyes and talk with them for hours
While other young people are thinking about going to college to get a degree and then try to get a job, I'm planning to grow up and get a full time job NO amount of training can prepare you for; being a wife and a mother.
